      Getting better, sticking with it!

I'm getting there... definitely not "baby's bottom" yet but good enough so far to feel like I can give an honest review and say I plan to stay with it, and I'm confident it will get even better. I've been getting waxed for ~15 years so my hair is sparse, and I have low standards for leaving behind some broken or fine hairs if it lets me avoid shaving AND avoid sharing close indoor space with a stranger (thanks COVID). I took a couple short sessions to try it out - just my shins the first time, since that's where the most visible hair is, then shin and calf a couple weeks later, and just did everything from ankles to mid-thigh. Back of the thighs was difficult to get a good angle and pull the skin tight enough. Next time I might be brave enough to get to upper thigh. It's pretty warm in my apartment and I can't really change that. A fan didn't seem to help the first time but I might try it again. I haven't been able to get the technique in the videos with a really long smear of sugar and get the whole thing off cleanly in a couple flicks... the sugar flaps around to the other side of the flicker and gets all over my hand. So far I've found that if I use smaller amounts for shorter smears, I can flick it off cleanly and reuse for a longer time before it melts into a sticky layer all over my skin. I also found the sugar came off cleaner when I did NOT use the powder on part of my legs this last time I tried it, but that wasn't a really thorough test. I think I was using too much powder to start, even though I saw the "little goes a long way" instruction. I do like the soothing oil afterward - haven't tried it without to compare, but it feels nice and doesn't leave a greasy residue after rubbing in.

      Better Than I Expected

I've never waxed before, and I hate shaving my legs, but when I saw Sugar Me Smooth and read about it I decided to give it a try. My husband and I try to be chemical free so the fact that it is all natural played a big factor for me as well. I've used it a few times now, on myself and my husband (he wanted to see how it worked), and while my technique needs some work, I will say that Sugar Me Smooth is very easy to use and honestly doesn't hurt. Two things that really surprised me! Like I said my technique isn't great yet, and my legs look a little patchy in the hair growth lol, but I know with practice I'll get there. I really like this product and when I run out will definitely get it again. I highly recommend! I'll also say I have a curious pup and, while I'm sure eating it isn't good for her, she did lick a little off my leg and I was far less freaked out than if she had licked something full of chemicals. Thank you Sugar Me Smooth for an awesome "waxing" experience!

      Works as advertised

I was concerned that I would have trouble using this product, but it works perfectly the first time. I didn’t expect it to pull the hair so much applying the wax, but removing the hair doesn’t hurt at all. Great product and easy to use!

      Takes some time

I’ve used the kit twice now. I can get a couple of good “flicks”, but the wax quickly becomes sticky. I’m hoping to have better luck as the temperature starts to cool off this fall/winter as I think my skin is heating up too quickly. I have tried to apply ice and cool water which helped a little. It’s patchy and does leave hair sometimes. I’m sure it will get easier to use with practice.
