      Surprising easy

I followed the directions and had great results. I was worried about the pain but it really wasn’t bad at all. Especially if you’ve ever had a wax or have done threading. I felt the pain was less. Especially because I could control the size of the sections and take breaks when needed. Can’t wait to try again!

      Easy, if a little sticky

Didn't take too long to get the hang of, although a cool, dry environment for sugaring is a MUST. I definitely struggled when the heat kicked on in the bathroom. The process left me smooth and without all the angry bumps I've gotten from waxing.

      Very Pleased!

I was very pleased with my first sugaring experience! Less painful than I expected and a pretty straightforward process. It was more difficult on hard-to-reach areas, but I've been very pleased with the results.

This product is the first time I've ever removed hair with anything other than a razor. I'm so glad I took the plunge! Definitely watch the videos; but, it really wasn't that hard. I started with my legs, since I felt that would be the easiest place. My primary advice is to experiment with flexing or pointing your foot (along with holding the skin tight). When I first started, removing the hair was not what I found painful. It felt almost like nothing. What was painful was spreading the sugar. That was because I really wasn't holding the skin tight enough. Once I had done one leg, I found the other to already be so much easier. There's no doubt in my mind that this was a good decision. I've also read from other people that they wave the sugar in the air between applications and I totally agree! It keeps it from getting melty.
I'm also really thankful I got the kit, because the prep powder and soothing oil were really helpful! I love that soothing oil. I have dermatographia, which is a skin condition that overreacts to any scratch, brush, or bruise. It's why I've never tried waxing. I knew I'd be miserable. I decided to give this a try, since it's all natural and supposed to be gentler on the skin. My skin was definitely sensitive after, but it calmed done within the day and looks smooth and happy now. I am excited to try it out on other areas that I wouldn't use my razor on, like my arms. Got those Italian genes. Now I can keep the thick hair just on my head.

      Haven't used it enough

It DOES hurt - no sugar coating that! I got the hang of the flicking pretty easily but was having issues with my hands slipping on the card and not getting a good grip. I used a fan to keep it cool. It wasn't getting all the hair so I had to go over the same spot like 5 times. I don't know if it was too warm, my hair too short, not leaving it on long enough, or what. I only got half of one leg done before I stopped because it was messy, my hands kept slipping all over the card and the fan was giving me goosebumps. Not to mention I was at it for an hour just to get half a leg done... It's been a week since I did half of a leg and it definitely stays smoother longer! I will attempt to do both legs all the way through later as I believe it will be worth it once I can get all the hair out. It beats shaving every week. I would rather sit through 3+ hrs of sugaring and have smooth legs for weeks than shave every couple of days. I'll probably get faster once I get the temperature right and find out how it can get all the hair out in one go - hopefully.
