For Optimal Results: 

  • Use Prepping Powder before sugaring to absorb any excess sweat or oil from the skin. Continue using throughout the sugaring sessions if necessary.
  • Apply the Soothing Solution to legs, arms, bikini, or other areas of the skin after sugaring. (Not recommended for use on face.) This hydrated oil recipe will calm the hair follicles and return nutrients to the skin.
  • Spray Soothing Mist for fast calming nourishment in sensitive areas, particularly the bikini area.  Also great for rashes and bug bites.

    My first attempt was messy and time-consuming, but if my legs stay this smooth, it'll be worth it! There is a learning curve, but with some practice hopefully I'll get better.

    Does not work

    I have tried all of the different things that are recommended for getting the Sugar Me to work. I’ve put it in the fridge. I’ve put an ice pack on my skin and dried it off before using the sugar. Nothing works and the sugar just is sticky and does not flick off. I can’t even get it to stick to itself to remove from my skin. Every different thing I’ve tried I end up just wasting that sugar as I have to wash it off. I’m very disappointed, especially since I bought the full body removal system.

    Hey Mackenzie, we are sorry you couldn't get the hang of our product. The sugar can get sticky for reasons beyond the skin being too warm. The Flicking motion has to be correct, this is the number one thing that will cause sticky sugar, and then there also needs to be an ample amount of prepping powder. If you still have sugar left, and are willing to give it another shot, you can find more specific help on sticky sugar in the Facebook group, Sugar Me Smooth 101.

    I have watched all of the videos and tried all of the suggestions, from what I can tell by the end of a second step it's just too warm. Where I live this is as comfortable a temperature as we are going to get. Huge mess for little results and it's just not worth it.

    People keep suggesting to have wax strips handy for when sugaring fails me. So I'm just going to try the wax strips.

    We're sorry to hear it's gotten too warm too fast Davona. Another tip we recommend is having an icepack to cool the skin beforehand and/or sitting in front of a fan.

    Effective and gentle

    I have very sensitive skin, which has gotten worse in recent years, to the point where shaving makes my legs unbearably itchy. I tried Sugar Me Smooth for the first time last week on just one shin and calf to start with, and it was fantastic! My skin didn't react at all and was left feeling wonderfully smooth. It will take a little time to get the technique down and be more efficient with it, but the videos are really helpful. I will definitely keep with it. I'm so glad I decided to try Sugar Me Smooth!
